AEGEAN Airlines announces flight schedule changes for Heraklion Airport

AEGEAN Airlines wishes to notify all passengers regarding the necessary cancellation and alterations to its flight schedules to and from Heraklion Airport “Nikos Kazantzakis” due to essential upgrade works planned for the runway from February 19 to February 24. Recognizing the paramount importance of meeting passenger requirements and maintaining the island’s connectivity, AEGEAN has taken proactive measures to mitigate inconvenience.

To address the situation and ensure continued service, AEGEAN has organized additional flights to and from Chania Airport, with two daily supplementary flights, and to/from Sitia with one daily extra flight, all operated using Airbus A320 aircraft. Moreover, flights originally scheduled to depart from or arrive at Heraklion and Thessaloniki will now operate from Chania Airport during this period.

Affected passengers holding tickets for the impacted flights will receive timely notification through the airline or their respective travel agencies, from whom they purchased their tickets. AEGEAN remains committed to facilitating seamless travel experiences while accommodating necessary adjustments to ensure safety and convenience for all passengers during this period of operational changes.
