This summer, SOPHY is introducing a new bike program, offering complimentary bikes to guests based on availability. With biking popularity surging throughout the city, particularly on the South Side with a nearly 200 percent increase in ridership since 2019, exploring Chicago on two wheels is more appealing than ever. Guests can enjoy the 18-mile Lakefront Trail along Lake Michigan, visit the Museum of Science and Industry, and stop by Frank Lloyd Wright’s Robie House. Additionally, Mesler Chicago, the hotel’s restaurant, will offer picnic meals for purchase, perfect for a bike basket picnic.

Outdoor Dining at The Sanctuary

The Sanctuary, Mesler Chicago’s outdoor dining area, reopens this weekend. This cozy outdoor lounge offers cocktails and lighter fare beside warming firepits and twinkle lights. Guests can enjoy brunch on weekends and “Hours of Happy” every Tuesday to Thursday from 3–5 p.m.

Weekend Brunch at Mesler Chicago

Mesler Chicago is renowned for its Weekend Brunch, which now includes the new DJ Brunch starting on summer Saturdays in June. Brunch is served from Friday through Sunday between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., featuring handcrafted cocktails like the Patio Season and Summertime Chi. Chef Eddie Areola’s menu caters to all tastes, offering dishes such as Vegetable Hash, Spicy Chicken Sandwich, 5th Ward Burger, Shrimp & Grits, and Lox & Bagel.

Happy Hour at Mesler

Happy Hour at Mesler is a vibrant time from Tuesday to Thursday, 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., featuring Bartender’s Choice for $10, House Wine for $8, and select Beers for $5. The menu includes Mesler Fries, House Wings, Signature Deviled Eggs, Petite Cauliflower, and Seasonal Burrata.

Late Night Menu

For night owls, Mesler and The Sanctuary offer a Late Night Menu from 9:00 to 11:00 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. The menu includes Truffle Fries, 5th Ward Burgers, Lobster Rolls, and House Made Ice Creams and Sorbets.
