Emirates Group Takes UAE Leadership Development To New Heights With Rolls-Royce Renewal

The renewed partnership guarantees that five more groups of UAE Nationals will have the opportunity to participate in the airline’s specialized training program, designed exclusively for them.

Emirates Group has extended its collaboration with Rolls-Royce for another five years, reaffirming its commitment to nurturing and strengthening leadership capabilities among UAE Nationals. This renewal underscores the Group’s ongoing efforts to develop a highly skilled workforce ready to take on key leadership roles in the future.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for this extension was formally signed by Adel Al Redha, Deputy President and Chief Operations Officer of Emirates Airline, and Ewen McDonald, Chief Customer Officer at Rolls-Royce, in the presence of senior executives from both organizations.

As part of this renewed agreement, five additional cohorts of UAE Nationals will benefit from an exclusive leadership training program tailored to equip them with industry-specific expertise and career-enhancing opportunities. So far, 175 participants across 11 cohorts have successfully completed the program, with many now holding senior leadership positions within various divisions of the Emirates Group.

The Rolls-Royce Leadership Programme remains a cornerstone of Emirates Group’s leadership development strategy, empowering UAE Nationals with essential skills to drive business success. The upgraded curriculum will feature advanced modules on Financial Management and Commercial Acumen, Sustainability, Emerging Technologies, The Future of Work, Strategy, Personal Impact, and Innovation, ensuring participants are well-prepared for the evolving corporate landscape.
