Fiji Airways adjusts Taveuni Flights for runway upgrade

Fiji Airports Limited has released an updated timetable for the planned maintenance of the Matei runway on Taveuni, now scheduled to take place from September 18th to October 1st, 2024.

In light of these revised dates, Fiji Airways’ subsidiary, Fiji Link, has reassessed its decision to suspend flights to Matei (Taveuni). The previously canceled flights from August 5th to 17th, 2024, have been reinstated, with the exception of flights FJ125 and FJ122, which will remain suspended from August 12th to 17th.

Consequently, Fiji Link flights during the newly scheduled closure period will be canceled, and afternoon flights from September 25th to October 1st may be rescheduled or canceled based on demand.

These affected flights will not be open for booking during the maintenance period. Guests who have already made bookings will be offered alternative travel dates.
