The Four Seasons Resort Bora Bora has clinched the title of the best resort in French Polynesia, according to Travel + Leisure’s World’s Best Awards 2024. Additionally, it secured a spot among the top five resorts in the South Pacific.
Travel + Leisure annually conducts the World’s Best Awards survey, inviting its readers to evaluate their global travel experiences. Participants provide feedback on the best hotels, resorts, cities, islands, cruise ships, spas, airlines, and more.
In the 2024 edition, more than 186,000 readers of Travel + Leisure participated, casting over 700,000 votes for more than 8,700 different entities, including hotels, cities, and cruise lines. Hotels were categorized as resort hotels, city hotels, inns, or safari lodges, depending on their amenities and location. Ratings were given based on five criteria: Rooms/Facilities, Location, Service, Food, and Value. Each category had five possible ratings, ranging from excellent to poor. The overall scores were calculated as averages of these individual ratings.
“We are honoured to be recognized among the best hotels in the world by the esteemed readers of Travel + Leisure,” says Romain Chanet, General Manager of Four Seasons Resort Bora Bora. “Our passionate team is dedicated to creating extraordinary experiences rooted in authenticity and warmth, allowing our guests to enjoy the vacation of a lifetime on our island paradise.”

This package includes a complimentary Beach-View Overwater Bungalow Suite when booking a stay in a two- or three-bedroom Beachfront Villa Estate. Additionally, guests will enjoy daily breakfast, private airport boat transfers in Bora Bora, and personalized assistance from the resort’s dedicated team of Villa Hosts.
