This landmark project, the largest solar farm of its kind in the area, represents a full transition to off-grid energy, showcasing the Lodge’s unwavering dedication to environmental sustainability and responsible tourism.

Located deep within the African wilderness, the Lodge has long been a retreat for travelers seeking an authentic, immersive safari experience. With the installation of 2,256 solar panels producing 990 kWp of renewable energy, supported by a 1 MW inverter and a 3 MWh battery storage system, Four Seasons Safari Lodge Serengeti has established a new benchmark for eco-friendly luxury in the region.

This accomplishment equates to an annual savings of over 640,000 liters of diesel fuel, highlighting the project’s strong commitment to environmental conservation.
