From Feb 1, 2024, Air France elevates Business class with a new culinary service, in collaboration with Chef François Adamski.
Starting from February 1, 2024, Air France introduced an innovative culinary service for its Business class passengers on short-distance flights, designed in partnership with the esteemed Servair Corporate Chef François Adamski, a distinguished Bocuse d’Or winner and Meilleur Ouvrier de France recipient.
This fresh initiative features a dynamic menu tailored to different times of the day. Morning flights departing before 10 am offer a delightful breakfast menu including uniquely crafted sandwiches such as white bread filled with smoked salmon and dill-flavored cream cheese, alongside a morning pastry. For departures after 10 am, passengers are treated to exclusive and refined ‘signature’ sandwiches crafted by Adamski himself, featuring combinations like smoked paprika chicken with tarragon-infused vegetables on whole grain bread, complemented by traditional French confections like calisson, cannelé, or tropézienne.
Adamski has masterfully created these gourmet sandwiches to suit the convenience of short-haul travel, prioritizing the use of fresh, local, and seasonal ingredients, including French-sourced meats, poultry, dairy, Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) cheeses, and sustainably caught fish, adhering to the airline’s quality standards.
This selection is refreshed monthly and presented in a stylishly designed meal box exclusive to Business class travelers. It’s paired with a carefully chosen assortment of wines and champagnes, now offered in glassware, along with a variety of beverages, both hot and cold.
In an effort to embrace sustainable dining practices, the meal packaging and its contents are sorted for recycling onboard. In a pioneering move for Air France, supported by Servair, the meal boxes undergo methanization for efficient recycling.
This latest enhancement underscores Air France’s commitment to elevating its service quality and celebrating the richness of French gastronomy.
The culinary creations of Chef François Adamski are also available to enjoy in the Air France lounge located in terminal 2F of Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport, as well as in the Business class section on the airline’s medium-range flights.
