Starting February 15, ITA Airways will introduce the “Inspired by Alitalia” sticker on three of its latest-generation aircraft, paying homage to its rich aviation heritage.

Originally announced on September 27, 2024, and gradually integrated across key brand platforms such as the airline’s app and website, this initiative reflects ITA Airways’ deep appreciation for the legacy that shaped its identity. The first aircraft to bear this tribute will be a cutting-edge Airbus A350, deployed on long-haul operations. Its inaugural flight featuring the commemorative livery will take off on Saturday, February 15, 2025, from Rome Fiumicino to Tokyo Haneda.

As part of its Summer 2025 expansion, ITA Airways will extend the “Inspired by Alitalia” branding to two additional aircraft: an Airbus A321neo for medium-haul routes and an Airbus A220-100, catering to short-haul flights.
