The added services include 70 additional southbound trains and 106 additional northbound trains, helping accommodate increased demand in both directions. The expanded schedule is designed to support passengers travelling between northern, central and southern regions as holiday mobility rises.

Tickets for all additional holiday trains will become available at midnight Thursday, allowing passengers to secure seats before the expected travel rush begins. However, 13 trains will operate with only cars 11 and 12 available for non-reserved seating. Some of these late-running services will continue beyond midnight, reaching their final destinations at either Zuoying or Nangang stations as late as 12:59 a.m. the following day.
