The new train service will operate as Train No. 14153 Kanpur Central–Anand Vihar (T) Mail and will run daily from Kanpur Central at 8:40 pm. The train will reach Anand Vihar Terminal at 4:50 am the next morning, providing passengers with an early morning arrival option in Delhi.

For the return journey, Train No. 14154 Anand Vihar (T)–Kanpur Central Mail will depart from Anand Vihar Terminal at 11:25 pm and arrive at Kanpur Central at 7:25 am. The overnight schedule has been planned to offer greater flexibility for passengers who prefer travelling during night hours.

The service will cover a total distance of around 428 kilometres in both directions. The journey from Kanpur Central to Anand Vihar Terminal will take approximately 8 hours and 10 minutes, while the return journey will be completed in around 8 hours.

Key Stops Improve Regional Passenger Connectivity

The daily Mail train will provide commercial stoppages at several important railway stations located along the route. These include Phaphund, Etawah, Tundla, Hathras, Aligarh, Khurja, Dadri and Ghaziabad.

The project will be developed with an estimated investment of Rs 166.5 crore under a cost-sharing arrangement between Indian Railways and the state government. According to the approved plan, both sides will contribute approximately Rs 83.2769 crore each towards the construction.
