Greater Bay Airlines (GBA) has named Ms. Liza Ng, who presently holds the position of Chief Operating Officer, as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective from April 1, 2024. Mr. Stanley Hui, the current Chief Executive Officer, will transition to serve as a Director and Advisor to the Chairman while remaining on the Board.

Mr Wong Cho Bau, Chairman of GBA, said, “I would like to express my heartfelt
gratitude to Mr Hui for taking up the position as Chief Executive Officer in July 2022,
replacing our former Chief Executive Officer Mr Algernon Yau, who assumed the post
of the Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development of the Hong Kong SAR
Government. Mr Hui’s significant contribution in laying a very solid foundation for the
airline is greatly appreciated.”
“Ms Ng is also a veteran of the aviation industry. I am mostly delighted to congratulate
on her appointment. GBA has been growing fast in the past two years and I am fully
confident that she will, in her new position, build an even stronger team at GBA and
lead the airline to reach new horizons as the tourism and aviation industries are
recovering well, opening up new opportunities in both the local and overseas markets,”
added Mr Wong.

Ms. Liza Ng joined GBA as Chief Operating Officer in June 2023 after beginning her aviation career as a Management Trainee with Dragonair in 1990. With over three decades of experience in the aviation industry, she has held numerous senior management roles spanning commercial and operational functions at prominent airlines such as Dragonair and Cathay Pacific. Her leadership extends to serving as CEO of a freighter airline and ground support companies, enriching her expertise in aviation management.

Since its inception in July 2022, GBA has been operating scheduled flights between Hong Kong and destinations including Bangkok, Taipei, Seoul, Tokyo, Osaka, Manila, among others, utilizing a fleet of seven Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
