Hilton Expands Riviera Maya All-Inclusive Portfolio With Two Luxury Resorts
RIVIERA MAYA, Mexico Hilton is scaling up its luxury all-inclusive portfolio on the Caribbean coast of Mexico, with Waldorf Astoria Riviera Maya and Conrad Tulum Riviera Maya to be rebranded as independent all-inclusive resorts. Starting 10 January 2027, Waldorf Astoria Riviera Maya will be an all-inclusive adults-only resort for all guests 18 years and older. Conrad Tulum will continue to be a family resort with a new adults-only all-inclusive offering, Ceiba Club.
Waldorf Astoria Riviera Maya Moves to Adults-Only All-Inclusive Stays
The biggest practical change arrives at Waldorf Astoria Riviera Maya. From 10 January 2027, every registered guest must be at least 18 years old. Travellers planning family holidays therefore need to check their dates carefully before booking.

The property has 173 oceanfront rooms and suites, each with a private plunge pool. Its all-inclusive programme covers dining at participating restaurants and bars, premium alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, a minibar replenished daily and 24-hour in-room dining.
Guests also receive Personal Concierge support and poolside service. The concierge can help organise dining, activities and other elements of the stay, reducing the amount of individual planning travellers need after arrival.

The resort’s culinary venues include Malpeque, Chaya, JA’O and Peacock Alley. Its broader programme connects food with wellness, Mexican culture and creative activities.
Four-Night Stays Can Unlock Additional Benefits
Length of stay will matter for travellers comparing the new package with conventional luxury hotel rates.

Eligible reservations of four consecutive nights or longer can include one selected experience or destination excursion. Depending on the available programme, activities may focus on wellness, nature or exploration of Riviera Maya.
Eligible reservations can also include private return transportation from Cancún International Airport. Travellers should check the exact rate conditions because Hilton states that these benefits apply to qualifying reservations and remain subject to terms and availability.
Daily activities can include oceanfront yoga, Mayan-inspired breathwork, sound healing, textiles, clay activities, agave-focused experiences and mixology. The format therefore extends beyond accommodation and meals into destination-led programming.
Conrad Tulum Keeps Families While Creating an Adults-Only Zone
Conrad Tulum Riviera Maya Instead of this model, Conrad Tulum Riviera Maya will adopt another concept. This property will remain a resort for different generations, thus it will not evolve into an adults-only property.
Families can also enjoy MYTHOS World, dedicated to interactive activities for kids of all ages, rooted in nature, creativity and exploration. The resort features five outdoor pools, as well as a variety of cultural, wellness and gastronomic experiences.
Registering as a slightly more separate option adults may opt for Ceiba Club, Hilton’s exclusive for-hotel-guests adults-only retreat for those aged 18 and over. It offers an extra layer of room and private space for those that want it while allowing the wider family market at Conrad Tulum to stay.

The food plays a large part of the offer. Choose from Mediterranean and Caribbean-inspired cuisine at Maratea, Sushi at Ukai or Japanese-inspired dishes at Kengai. The all-inclusive package also provides premium drinks, replenished in-room minibar and round-the-clock room service.
What Travellers Should Check Before Booking
The changes make the booking date particularly important. Families considering Waldorf Astoria Riviera Maya should remember that the 18-plus restriction starts on 10 January 2027.
Hilton says existing Waldorf Astoria reservations will retain their confirmed booking terms, except reservations involving guests under 18 with arrival dates from 10 January 2027. The resort plans to assist affected guests with alternative accommodation options.
Travellers should also verify whether their chosen rate qualifies for airport transfers and the additional experience available with eligible four-night stays. Group bookings can carry different conditions.
For travellers who want to explore beyond their resort, Tulum combines Caribbean beaches, cenotes and Maya heritage. Mexico’s official tourism portal also highlights improved access through Tulum International Airport and Tren Maya connections.
Mexico’s Tourism Ministry reported in July 2026 that Tulum had 10 public beach access points, while the government’s Tulum Renace programme includes measures covering mobility, visitor services, air connectivity and destination promotion.

Two Different Choices for a Riviera Maya Holiday
This repositioning offers a more distinct proposition for luxury travellers. The resort will now cater for adults looking for privacy, curated and attentive service, wellness and high-end dining options. Meanwhile, Conrad Tulum Riviera Maya will continue to appeal to families and multi generational groups, while Ceiba Club remains an adults-only resort experience.
How to make value Comparisons between properties are not simply a matter of all-inclusive – the terms and conditions can vary according to age, booking rates, minimum stay for specific extras, excursions and airport transfer conditions.
The pair of resorts further enhances Hilton’s footprint in the luxury all-inclusive space in Mexico while also allowing visitors to Riviera Maya to explore varied options on how to combine rooms, dining, wellness and destination experiences into one resort experience.
