On weekends, Lonavala city is experiencing huge rush of tourists as it’s located exactly in the middle of Pune and Mumbai. Also, Bhusi Dam has also witnessed huge crowd as visitors’ starts pouring in from morning. But, this situation has increased concern in terms of tourist safety as many of them are seeing getting associated in risky activities.
Even though police has cautioned people repeatedly, many of them went for swimming in Bhusi Dam. In all the famous spots like Tiger Point, Lions Point and Bhusi Dam, there has been huge influx of tourists on the weekends. During monsoon, Lonavla turns misty which is attracting huge number of tourists from different corners of Maharashtra and other countries to Lonavla this rainy season.
The amount of rain has reduced in Lonavla a lot, eagerness of the tourists remain undeterred. Many enthusiasts were spotted seating on the steps of Bhusi Dam and relishing the misty surroundings. The entire surrounding of Bhusi Dam during monsoon turns picturesque. People also enjoy local
delicacies while enjoying the natural loveliness of the place. Government is constantly emphasizing responsible tourism among the visitors.
