MSC Cruises enhances passenger convenience with transfers

MSC Cruises is set to enhance the cruise experience for its passengers by introducing transfer services that allow passengers the convenience of embarking from their hometowns and being returned home at the conclusion of their cruise. This initiative promises to add an extra layer of comfort and ease for those opting to travel with MSC Cruises.

The transfer service covers several routes, including Porto/Lisbon/Porto, Aveiro/Lisbon/Aveiro, Coimbra/Lisbon/Coimbra, Faro/Lisbon/Faro, and Albufeira/Lisbon/Albufeira. According to the company, the northern transfers will originate and conclude in Porto, with additional stops in Aveiro and Coimbra for the convenience of boarding and disembarking passengers. Similarly, in the southern region, transfers will start and end in Faro, incorporating a stop in Albufeira to facilitate the embarking and disembarking of passengers.

For this year, MSC Cruises has announced a total of 19 cruises setting sail from and returning to Lisbon aboard the MSC Opera. These cruises feature a 10-night itinerary with stops in various European cities, including Alicante and Mahón in Spain, Olbia and Genoa in Italy, Marseille in France, and Málaga and Cádiz also in Spain.

In addition to the 19 scheduled cruises, MSC Cruises is offering two mini-cruises, each lasting five nights. The first mini-cruise is scheduled to depart from Genoa, Italy, on April 24th, while the second is set to leave from Lisbon on November 5th.

This move by MSC Cruises to offer transfer services is aimed at streamlining the travel process for passengers, ensuring a hassle-free journey to and from the cruise ship. By eliminating the need for passengers to arrange their own transportation to the port of departure, MSC Cruises is making it easier and more appealing for travellers to choose a cruise vacation. This service not only simplifies logistics but also enhances the overall travel experience, allowing passengers to begin and end their cruises with unparalleled convenience and comfort.
