In an initiative to foster collaborations and marketing agreements in the tourism sector, ‘Meet Navartur Reyno de Navarra’ has been introduced, a business gathering slated for February 23. Organized by the creators of the renowned ‘Navartur’ tourism fair, this inaugural event aims to connect international and local agents within the framework of the 18th edition of the “Navartur” fair, scheduled from February 23 to 25 at the Baluarte Congress Center in Pamplona.

Buyer Program and Fam Trip:

Around twenty carefully selected buyers from agencies and tour operators based in the USA, Canada, United Kingdom, Denmark, Portugal, Belgium, and Spain will participate in a three-day Fam Trip covering Navarra and the Basque Country. The Fam Trip offers international buyers firsthand experience of the destination’s offerings.

‘Speed Dating’ Format Workshop:

The centerpiece of ‘Meet Navartur Reyno de Navarra’ is a workshop scheduled for Friday, February 23. The workshop follows a ‘speed dating’ format, allowing participants to engage in brief, approximately ten-minute meetings, facilitating a higher number of interactions between supply and demand. This format is designed to focus professionals’ time on activities of interest within one day during their working hours, optimizing interactions between exhibitors and buyers.

Objectives and Focus Areas:

Luis Cortés, director of Navartur, states that the primary goal is to connect international and local agents while fostering collaborations and marketing agreements. The event will target wholesale agencies and tour operators specializing in various tourism sectors, including active tourism (cycling and hiking), cultural, wine and gastronomy, Camino de Santiago, sports, MICE, and sustainable tourism.

Positioning Navarra and Spanish Destinations:

The event aims to position Navarra and Spanish destinations as highly desired by international visitors. Through stands at the fair, exhibitors will showcase their products, services, and tourism experiences to an audience with a strong travel tradition and high purchasing power, particularly from markets like the USA, Canada, and the United Kingdom.

Navartur Reyno de Navarra, International Tourism Fair:

Navartur is the leading trade event for the travel industry in northern Spain, featuring 175 exhibitors and co-exhibitors, including 17 international participants. The fair is anticipated to attract a significant number of visitors and professionals, reinforcing its status as a key player in the Spanish tourism sector. Last year, the fair welcomed 46,435 visitors, marking a substantial increase from previous editions.
