Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport Starts the Holidays Early with Special Events for Travelers

Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, known as America’s Friendliest Airport®, is kicking off the holiday season early with the return of its popular 12 Days of Gratitude program this November. This annual initiative is a way to show appreciation to travelers and customers, offering fun activities and treats throughout the airport.

This year, the program begins in November—earlier than in previous years—so travelers can enjoy the festive spirit as they head home for Thanksgiving. The Thanksgiving weekend is traditionally one of the busiest travel periods at Phoenix Sky Harbor, second only to special events.

Starting on November 19, passengers will find various activities happening each day across all terminals. They can win exciting prizes, snap a photo with Amelia the Airplane or a friendly Navigator Buddy, and get creative with a hands-on art activity.

Tuesday, Nov. 19
10 a.m. – 12 p.m. – Spin the Wheel for a chance to win a prize. Located in Terminal 4, Level 3, near the Information Counter (east end).

Thursday, Nov. 21
1 – 3 p.m. – Spin the Wheel for a chance to win a prize. Located in Terminal 3, Level 4, under The Aviators (east end).

Monday, Nov. 25
10 a.m. – 12 p.m. – Create your own button and meet a Navigator Buddy. Located in Terminal 4, Level 3, near the Information Counter (east end).
10 a.m. – 12 p.m. – Meet Amelia the Airplane, roaming throughout Terminal 4 behind security.

Tuesday, Dec. 3
