Finnish Lapland remains one of the strongest highlights of the winter travel promotion. Known globally for snowy landscapes, Arctic activities and Northern Lights experiences, the region is attracting increasing interest from international travellers during the colder months. Flights to Rovaniemi, recognised as the official hometown of Santa Claus, are available from £123 one-way from London, £130 from Edinburgh, £139 from Manchester and €117 from Dublin. Beyond Finland, the promotion also supports travel to Arctic Norway, with flights to Tromsø available from £149 one-way from London. Finnair’s winter sale also covers several European destinations, offering travellers more affordable options for seasonal city breaks. From London, passengers can access destinations including Tallinn, Riga and Vilnius from £104 one-way. Additional offers include flights to Tartu from £119, Kraków from £124 and Warsaw from £129. The promotion also includes Finnair’s newly launched route to Melbourne, offering travellers an early opportunity to experience the airline’s latest long-haul expansion. The Helsinki–Melbourne service, scheduled to begin on 25 October 2026, is available within the sale with return fares starting from £799 from London, £899 from Edinburgh and £919 from Manchester. The new connection further strengthens Finnair’s global network and creates additional travel options between Europe and Australia.
