The airline has opened up new winter travel opportunities for UK and Ireland passengers with the launch of a sale promoting special fares across its European and Asian network. The seasonal promotion is aimed at helping the passenger discover discounted fares to travel to Finland’s winter wonderlands, Arctic destinations, European city breaks, Asian gateways and the airline’s new Melbourne route. The sale will be open for bookings until March 2027 and will support passenger in making travel plans for their winter holiday, festive getaway and long-haul adventure through Finnair’s hub in Helsinki.

The sale highlights Finland as a key winter travel destination, with Helsinki and Finnish Lapland among the major attractions promoted through the reduced fares. Travellers seeking a traditional Nordic winter experience can access flights to Helsinki from London starting at £89 one-way, while fares from Edinburgh begin at £94, Manchester at £99 and Dublin at €79. The Finnish capital continues to attract visitors with its Christmas markets, cultural attractions, design experiences and easy connections to other Nordic destinations.

Finnish Lapland remains one of the strongest highlights of the winter travel promotion. Known globally for snowy landscapes, Arctic activities and Northern Lights experiences, the region is attracting increasing interest from international travellers during the colder months. Flights to Rovaniemi, recognised as the official hometown of Santa Claus, are available from £123 one-way from London, £130 from Edinburgh, £139 from Manchester and €117 from Dublin. From London, passengers can access destinations including Tallinn, Riga and Vilnius from £104 one-way. Additional offers include flights to Tartu from £119, Kraków from £124 and Warsaw from £129. These destinations provide opportunities for travellers to experience historic cities, cultural events, festive markets and winter attractions across Europe.

Return flights to Delhi are available from £449, while Shanghai starts from £469, Singapore from £519, Seoul from £589 and Tokyo from £709 from London.

Thailand remains another major focus of the campaign, with return flights to Bangkok available from £609 from London and Manchester, and from £649 from Edinburgh. Other Asian destinations included in the promotion are Hong Kong from £529, Osaka from £713 and Phuket from £659 from London. These offers provide more affordable access to popular leisure destinations known for beaches, culture, food and urban experiences.

The promotion also includes Finnair’s newly launched route to Melbourne, offering travellers an early opportunity to experience the airline’s latest long-haul expansion. The Helsinki–Melbourne service, scheduled to begin on 25 October 2026, is available within the sale with return fares starting from £799 from London, £899 from Edinburgh and £919 from Manchester. The new connection further strengthens Finnair’s global network and creates additional travel options between Europe and Australia.
