China Unveils a New Luxury Food Destination for Travellers as Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong Launches an Elegant Central Pop Up with Daily Bakes, Signature Cakes and Breakfast Favourites
A new Luxury food destination is being introduced in China as Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong prepares to open an elegant pastry pop-up at ifc mall in Central. Freshly baked breakfast items, signature cakes, Japanese cheese tarts, cookies and Danish pastries will be offered from 4 August 2026, bringing the Hotel’s established culinary craftsmanship closer to office professionals, residents and travellers exploring one of Hong Kong’s busiest commercial districts.
Located only steps from Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong, the temporary boutique will be positioned at Kiosk LA15 on Podium Level 1 of ifc mall, 8 Finance Street, Central. The concept has been developed as an extension of the Hotel’s Cake Shop, with its products being prepared daily in the Hotel’s pastry kitchen.
The collection will be overseen by Executive Pastry Chef Ringo Chan and his team. Exclusive pop-up creations will be presented alongside popular Cake Shop favourites, while limited-edition items will be introduced each month. Through this evolving selection, a convenient yet refined Luxury experience will be provided in the heart of the city.

For the Kyoto Matcha version, premium matcha sourced from Kyoto will be added, providing gentle bitterness and greater flavour depth.
The tarts have been designed for sharing and may be selected for office celebrations, gatherings or personal occasions. Their presentation will support the boutique’s position as a new Luxury culinary stop for visitors in Central, China.

Breakfast Favourites Created for Central’s Working Community
A weekday grab-and-go breakfast collection will be served between 8:00 am and 10:30 am. The range has been created for nearby professionals who require convenient options without sacrificing ingredient quality or freshness.
Japanese Egg and Bacon Semolina Bread will be paired with fruit juice and priced at HKD 82. A Ham and Emmental Cheese Croissant with fruit juice will also be available for HKD 74.
Premium Japanese Ran Oh eggs, recognised for their rich flavour and vibrant yolks, will be featured in the savoury breakfast creations. Every product will be baked fresh each day and offered for a limited period.
Through these breakfast options, the traditional pastry expertise associated with Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong will be adapted to the pace of Central. Convenience will be combined with careful preparation, allowing customers to collect a freshly baked meal before beginning their working day or continuing their journey through Hong Kong.

The morning range will also broaden the pop-up’s appeal beyond cakes and desserts. By including both sweet and savoury choices, the boutique will be positioned as an all-day food destination rather than solely a special-occasion cake counter.
Cookies, Brioche and Danish Pastries Expand the Collection
Afternoon selections will include two Oatmeal Raisin Cookie varieties, each priced at HKD 58. Cashew Nut Chocolate and Rose Lychee will be offered alongside Sicilian Pistachio Chocolate and Red Fruits.
Both varieties will be produced with an oatmeal raisin base. Premium Sicilian pistachios will be used for their nutty character and subtle fruitiness, while Valrhona 70 per cent dark chocolate will provide additional intensity.
Another exclusive creation will be the Caramelised Brioche with Poached Pandan Crème, priced at HKD 55. The buttery brioche will be baked until a crisp, deeply caramelised exterior has been achieved. It will then be served with fragrant pandan crème, creating a flavour profile inspired by the comforting richness of butter melting over French toast.
A Danish pastry collection will also be presented. Raspberry Yoghurt Bowtie Danish, Orange and Chocolate Chips Danish and Coconut Pineapple Danish will each be priced at HKD 36.
These products will strengthen the boutique’s selection of portable treats while maintaining the refined character expected from a Luxury hospitality brand. Visitors to Central, China, will therefore be given several options for breakfast, afternoon breaks, workplace sharing and personal indulgence.

Cake Shop Classics and Returning-Guest Rewards
Established Cake Shop favourites will remain an important part of the pop-up. Macau-style Egg Tarts will be offered in Pandan and Kaya and Classic flavours for HKD 19 each.
Red Velvet and Black Forest sliced cakes will be priced at HKD 78. The petit cake collection, also priced at HKD 78, will include Pistachio Chocolate Raspberry, White Peach Charlotte, Shikwasa Pineapple and Chestnut Cherry.
Whole cakes and curated gourmet gift selections will also be made available, extending the range to celebrations and gifting occasions. This combination of exclusive releases and familiar favourites will allow the culinary identity of Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong to be experienced beyond the Hotel itself.
Repeat visits will be encouraged through the Passport to Indulgence programme. Stamps will be collected when purchases are made and exclusive treats will be provided as customers progress through the scheme.
The programme has been inspired by the pleasure of discovering small indulgences. It will also allow returning customers to explore monthly releases and changes to the boutique’s collection.
By placing freshly prepared pastries, breakfast favourites and signature cakes inside ifc mall, Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong will bring its pastry craftsmanship directly into Central’s commercial centre. The temporary boutique will combine accessibility, daily freshness and carefully selected ingredients, creating a distinctive new food experience for residents, professionals and travellers visiting China.
