The NoMad Hilton Singapore will be opening in late 2026, marking the entry of the NoMad brand into Asia Pacific for the first time. Set on the famous Orchard Road, the 19-story hotel will be introducing a new hospitality destination through design, food, cocktails, and social elements. The hotel will be home to three unique dining and bar venues, as well as a pool-side lounge, to create a complete day to night experience for travelers and locals. The opening further consolidates Singapore’s reputation as one of the most dynamic cities when it comes to hotels and dining.

NoMad Makes Its Asia Pacific Debut in Singapore

The arrival of NoMad Hilton Singapore marks a major step in the brand’s global expansion. The hotel will be the first NoMad property in Asia Pacific, following the brand’s strong international reputation for luxury lifestyle hospitality. The project also shows how Hilton is deepening its presence in the high-end lifestyle segment.

The hotel is being developed with UOL Group, a major Singapore-listed property and hospitality group. Earlier project details placed the hotel at 173 bedrooms, giving it an intimate luxury scale rather than a large convention-style format. This works well for the NoMad identity, which focuses on atmosphere, storytelling, design and food-led experiences. The result is expected to be a hotel that feels polished, theatrical and personal.

Orchard Road Gives NoMad a High-Visibility Luxury Address

The hotel’s location on Orchard Road is central to its market power. Orchard Road is one of Singapore’s most famous lifestyle corridors, known for retail, dining, hotels, entertainment, cafés and premium urban experiences. It already attracts international visitors and local residents, making it a natural stage for a brand built around design, nightlife and social connection.

For guests, the location offers access to luxury shopping, local neighbourhoods and cultural districts. Travellers can move from Orchard Road to areas such as Chinatown, Bugis and Arab Street, adding depth to the stay. This is important because modern luxury travellers want more than a beautiful hotel room. They want a base that gives them easy access to the city’s culture, food and rhythm.

NoMad Grill Brings New York Chophouse Energy to Singapore

NoMad Grill will be one of the hotel’s key dining anchors. The concept blends a classic brasserie with a New York-style chophouse. It will focus on dry-aged meats, wood-fire cooking, seafood and seasonal produce. This positions the restaurant as a refined but warm dining destination.

The concept is designed to bring part of NoMad’s New York identity to Singapore while adapting it for the city’s sophisticated food scene. Tableside service and brasserie-style details will give the restaurant a sense of occasion. At the same time, the use of fire, quality meat and produce will keep the menu grounded and direct. For Singapore’s competitive dining market, this gives the hotel a strong flagship restaurant with international appeal.

Sticky Fingers Adds a Playful Dessert and Cocktail Twist

Sticky Fingers will introduce one of the most playful ideas in the hotel. By day, it will serve house-made gourmet soft serve sundaes inspired by nostalgia and indulgence. By night, it will become an intimate cocktail bar where desserts and drinks meet. This concept fits Singapore’s love of creative food and social spaces. It also gives the hotel a lighter, more approachable venue alongside its more polished restaurant and cocktail bar. The idea of moving from soft serve to cocktails makes the space useful across different times of day. It can attract hotel guests, shoppers, residents and evening visitors looking for something fun but still refined.

The Tropicana Club Revives Cabaret Glamour With a Singapore Link

The Tropicana Club will be NoMad’s craft cocktail bar in Singapore. It takes inspiration from the glamour of Havana in the 1940s and 1950s, while also drawing from Singapore’s own cabaret history. This gives the bar a strong cultural story rather than a generic hotel-lounge identity.

The drinks programme will focus on classic cocktails from that era, including martini-style, daiquiri-style, Manhattan-style and Cuban-inspired drinks, while adding ingredients and influences from Singapore and Southeast Asia. Live music and curated DJ sets will help the venue move from elegant daytime atmosphere to evening social energy. This positions The Tropicana Club as a destination for both hotel guests and local nightlife audiences.

Lú Bar Creates a Poolside Escape Above Orchard Road

Lú Bar will add a quieter layer to the property. Set as a poolside lounge, it will offer greenery, soft furnishings, aperitivo cocktails and refreshing drinks. The design will include artistic references linked to the Heron, giving the space a symbolic and visual identity.

This matters because a luxury lifestyle hotel needs more than headline restaurants. It needs moments of pause. Lú Bar gives guests a place to rest between shopping, meetings, dining and nightlife. It also helps the hotel create a resort-like mood within a dense urban setting. For Orchard Road, that mix of city energy and calm retreat can become a strong selling point.

Global Culinary Leadership Shapes the Singapore Launch

NoMad’s food and beverage strategy will be supported by experienced global talent. Leo Robitschek, the brand’s global head of bars and hospitality development, leads NoMad’s cocktail direction. His work has earned major international recognition, including the James Beard Award for outstanding bar programming and placement on leading global bar rankings.

Josh Harnden has been appointed global culinary director for NoMad. His background includes senior creative work at Eleven Madison Park, as well as roles at One White Street, The Noortwyck and the original NoMad NYC kitchen. In Singapore, his role will help shape menus, standards and culinary direction. This gives the opening a serious food-led foundation.

Lorenz Hoja Brings Michelin-Level Craft to NoMad Singapore

Lorenz Hoja will serve as director of culinary at NoMad Singapore. His career spans kitchens in England, France, Austria, the Maldives and Singapore. He also spent more than a decade working with Joël Robuchon, including at Singapore’s former two-Michelin-starred L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon.

This background gives NoMad Singapore strong technical depth. Hoja’s role will be to lead the hotel’s local culinary vision and turn global NoMad ideas into a Singapore experience. That means balancing international skill with local ingredients, regional tastes and the city’s high expectations. In a market where diners are deeply informed, execution will be key.

Bernardo de la Garza Leads the Hotel Opening

The hotel will be led by Bernardo de la Garza as general manager. He brings more than 18 years of international hospitality experience across luxury and lifestyle brands, including senior roles with Six Senses, Hyatt Hotels, Accor and The Standard, Bangkok Mahanakhon.

This leadership experience is important because a lifestyle hotel must manage many moving parts at once. Rooms, restaurants, bars, design, local partnerships, service culture, events and brand identity must all feel connected. De la Garza’s role will be to guide the hotel from opening into daily operations and ensure that the property becomes a true Singapore flagship for the NoMad brand.

Singapore’s Tourism Growth Supports the Timing

The opening comes as Singapore continues to strengthen its tourism economy. Official data shows the city welcomed 16.9 million visitors in 2025 and generated a record S$32.8 billion in tourism receipts. The government’s long-term tourism roadmap also aims for S$47 billion to S$50 billion in tourism receipts by 2040.

Hotels are a major part of this growth. Singapore’s hotel industry includes more than 450 properties and over 73,000 rooms, contributing around 20% of total tourism receipts. A fresh luxury lifestyle hotel on Orchard Road fits the national focus on quality tourism, new experiences and higher-value stays.

NoMad Singapore Adds a New Layer to Orchard Road’s Reinvention

It is not just another hotel that will open its doors. NoMad Hilton Singapore will be a place where one will experience the whole new lifestyle aspect of Orchard Road, which already goes beyond shopping. The hotel will give people a luxury accommodation with a certain level of social experience, a place for new bars and restaurants for the locals, and will support Singapore tourism industry, by giving an impression that the country never stops growing its hospitality business.

NoMad Hilton Singapore, opened at the end of 2026, will do much more than just bring a brand from the global market to Asia Pacific region. It will create a new platform for the luxury lifestyle in Singapore with an element of glamour of New York, culture of Singapore, Orchard Road atmosphere, and theatrical hospitality of NoMad.
