Another key attraction is the multi functional entertainment carriage, which introduces facilities rarely seen on Vietnam’s railway network. It includes a 15-seat cinema with a 100-inch 4K screen, massage chairs and traditional costume rental services that allow visitors to capture memorable photographs during their journey.

The HQ2 train departs from Hue Station at 7:15 am and arrives at Tho Local Station at 11:55 am. The return HQ1 service leaves Tho Local at 1:15 pm and reaches Hue at 5:25 pm.

From September 6 until the end of 2026, one-way tickets receive a 15% reduction, while passengers purchasing return journeys can receive an additional discount.

Ticket prices depend on seating categories, with one-way fares ranging from VND380,000 (around US$14.6) to VND760,000 (approximately US$29.2).

The heritage train ticket also provides access to selected tourism incentives in Hue and Quang Tri. Travellers can receive discounts on attractions, accommodation services, sightseeing programmes and other tourism activities.

Updated information about available benefits is provided through QR codes on tickets and the railway’s electronic ticketing platform.
