ITB Berlin 2024 introducing inaugural ITB MICE HUB to focus on meetings and event industry

The upcoming ITB Berlin 2024, scheduled from March 5th to 7th, is set to redefine the landscape of the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) industry. With its rich history since 1966 as the World’s Leading Travel Trade Show, ITB Berlin introduces the inaugural ITB MICE HUB, a testament to the trade show’s commitment to innovation and its pivotal role in shaping the future of travel and tourism.

Situated in Hall 8.2, which is reopening to accommodate the growing segment of cultural tourism providers, the ITB MICE HUB serves as the new nucleus for MICE providers from various destinations. This strategic move not only amplifies the significance of the MICE industry within the global travel and tourism sector but also provides a dedicated platform for professionals to showcase and explore the latest trends, services, and technologies driving this dynamic market.

The relocation of the Culture Lounge to Hall 8.2 underscores ITB Berlin‘s ability to adapt and evolve, offering a fresh perspective on cultural tourism with participants like Magnicity, showcasing iconic structures such as the Berlin TV Tower and Tour Montparnasse, and unique museum experiences like the Fascineum and the Chocolate Museum in Bruges. Hall 8.2 also hosts the Business Travel and ITB Blogger Base segments, with this year’s Host Country, Oman, sponsoring the latter.
