Pokhara, Nepal – 26 February 2025: The Nepal India China Expo (NICE) 2025 has successfully concluded after three days of high-impact networking, investment discussions, and cross-border collaborations. The event, held from 24 to 26 February at the Pokhara Event Centre, attracted nearly 800 delegates, marking a historic milestone in regional tourism and trade partnerships.

A Tri-Nation Platform for Tourism and Economic Growth

As the first-ever expo uniting Nepal, India, and China, NICE 2025 was designed to foster international collaboration, unlock business opportunities, and boost MICE tourism. The event brought together tourism professionals, trade leaders, and business investors from the three nations, creating a powerful platform for regional economic integration.

Organized by the PATA Nepal Chapter in collaboration with the Nepal Tourism Board, Ministry of Industry and Tourism (Gandaki Province), Pokhara Metropolitan City, Pokhara Tourism Council, and key public and private stakeholders, the event received strong government backing.

The Honorable Badri Prasad Pandey, Minister for Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation of Nepal, attended as the Chief Guest, underscoring the expo’s significance in shaping Nepal’s tourism and economic growth strategy.

Mayor of Pokhara Metropolitan City, Dhan Raj Acharya, expressed pride and optimism, calling NICE 2025 the most impactful tourism event ever hosted in Pokhara. He emphasized that the expo would significantly enhance the city’s visibility as Nepal’s premier tourism hub.
