Death toll after the catastrophic flood has reached 11,300 and another 10,100 are missing from the coastal city of Derna one week after Storm Daniel hit north-eastern Libya.

The death toll is huge and around 10,000 are reported missing, Tamer Ramadan, head of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) delegation in Libya, said Tuesday during a press briefing in Geneva.

Efforts will be made in the future to launch several cruise lines from Libya to several neighbouring countries, the statement added as quoted by a news agency report.
