WestJet has secured its position as North America’s most punctual airline for the fifth consecutive month, according to Cirium’s latest September 2026 On-Time Performance Report. This achievement highlights the Canadian carrier’s consistent operational efficiency, strong commitment to punctuality and the collective efforts of its workforce to provide passengers with reliable, seamless and timely travel experiences across its expanding network.

WestJet maintained its leading position for punctuality across North America in September, completing approximately 17,390 flights and achieving an on-time arrival rate of 85.31 per cent. The Canadian carrier outperformed its major regional competitors, securing the top ranking with a lead of nearly three percentage points over the second-placed airline.
