Indonesia’s IOITE 2026 Brings Corporate Travel Buyers Closer to Tourism Destinations

As the Indonesia Outing & Incentive Travel Expo (IOITE) 2026 draws towards its conclusion in its last two days on October 10 and 11, the event brings together corporate travel buyers, tourism suppliers, and providers of experiential travel in Indonesia. The exhibition, which takes place at Nusantara International Convention Exhibition (NICE), PIK 2, Hall 7, in its second edition, is bringing together organisations with destinations, accommodation suppliers, tour operators and businesses that provide group travel experiences. The exhibition will take place from October 8 to 11, with October 11 being the last day of the exhibition. This last weekend of the exhibition is open to the general public and corporations that are interested in travel, outdoor and team-building experiences.
IOITE 2026 Expands Indonesia’s Corporate Tourism Connections
IOITE is designed to connect human resources professionals, corporate decision-makers, event planners and procurement teams with travel and experience providers. Its exhibition covers tourism destinations, hotels, resorts, transportation services, travel agencies, destination management companies and team-building organisers.
The event also features a Business Matching Lounge, where corporate buyers can arrange individual meetings with suppliers. This creates opportunities for tourism businesses to present group accommodation, transport arrangements, destination experiences and travel packages to organisations planning employee outings and incentive programmes.
According to the organisers, the 2026 edition features more than 100 brands across the corporate outing and incentive travel market. The event is targeting 25,000 visitors, following attendance of more than 10,000 people from 70 companies at its 2025 edition.

For Indonesia’s tourism industry, corporate travel represents a market that extends beyond conventional leisure holidays. Group bookings can generate demand for accommodation, restaurants, local transportation, guides and activities, particularly in destinations capable of hosting organised experiences.
Indonesia’s Regional Destinations Gain Corporate Travel Opportunities
Indonesia’s extensive island geography offers different possibilities for corporate travel and incentive tourism. Destinations such as Labuan Bajo in East Nusa Tenggara and Raja Ampat in Southwest Papua are recognised for their marine environments, island landscapes and nature-based experiences.

Labuan Bajo provides access to Komodo National Park, where visitors can experience island excursions, marine activities and guided nature tourism. The destination also offers hotels, restaurants and boat-based experiences that can be incorporated into organised group itineraries.
Raja Ampat offers a different tourism proposition, with its archipelagos, coral reefs, diving locations and community-based visitor experiences. Corporate itineraries in the region require advance coordination of flights, accommodation, boat transfers and local operators because of its remote island geography.

These destinations illustrate the range of experiences available to travel organisers seeking alternatives to conventional city-based corporate gatherings. However, reaching remote locations requires more detailed logistical planning than organising programmes in major urban centres.
Hotels, Transport and Experiential Tourism Take Centre Stage
The exhibition also covers the supporting services required to organise corporate travel. Hotels, resorts, transport providers, event organisers and tour operators form part of the supplier network presented at IOITE.
For tourism businesses, corporate group travel can create demand across several service categories. Accommodation providers can develop group packages, while transportation companies can arrange airport transfers and intercity travel. Local operators can offer guided excursions, outdoor recreation and cultural activities.
The event’s Experience Trial Zones allow visitors to explore selected activities and team-building programmes. Its HR Forum and Future Talk sessions also address workforce engagement, employee experiences and incentive programmes.

These offerings place experiential tourism alongside traditional business travel services, providing companies with options to combine meetings, recreation and destination visits.
