Mandarin Oriental and Harmoni Bali Forge Partnership to Develop Luxury Resort in Bali

Mandarin Oriental has entered into a management partnership with Harmoni Bali to develop a premier resort and private residences in Bali, Indonesia, set to open its doors in 2027. This exclusive retreat will be located on the Bukit peninsula in the southern part of Bali, about a 30-minute drive from I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport and close to the famed locales of Jimbaran, Uluwatu, and Sanur.

Situated atop a cliffside plateau with terraced elevations, the Mandarin Oriental Bali will boast breathtaking views over the Indian Ocean, providing guests with direct access to a private, pristine white-sand beach.

The resort’s design is the handiwork of Design Lab architects and esteemed interior designer Jeffrey Wilkes, complemented by the landscape artistry of Bill Bensley. It will feature 110 luxurious suites and villas, each with private terraces or gardens, and many including their own pools.

The resort will offer a range of amenities including a restaurant and bar perched on the cliff’s edge, a traditional Chinese restaurant, a secretive speakeasy bar, a vibrant beach club, a comprehensive spa, multiple swimming pools, a fitness center, a children’s club, tennis and padel courts, a water sports center, and a vast cliff-front lawn for hosting weddings and other events.

Golf enthusiasts will appreciate the resort’s proximity to the acclaimed Bukit Pandawa Golf Course and the nearby Bali National Golf Club.

Additionally, Mandarin Oriental’s branded Residences will consist of 68 private villas, varying from 3 to 6 bedrooms, spread across an 8-hectare site above the hotel. Villa owners will enjoy a private clubhouse with lounge areas, a co-working space, event facilities, family zones, as well as an exclusive gym and swimming pool, with full access to all resort amenities.
