Capella Hotel Group has joined Agoda to have its properties under Capella Hotels and Resorts and Patina Hotels and Resorts on Agoda’s booking site. This is an addition to the Company’s existing partnership with Agoda, and the Company can now offer its upscale and lifestyle properties worldwide through Agoda. This will allow more customers to experience the Company’s award-winning lodging properties.
The collaboration will expand access to Capella’s award-winning portfolio, allowing Agoda’s worldwide customer base to discover and reserve some of the most celebrated luxury stays across key destinations with greater convenience.

The partnership comes as Asia continues to shape the future of luxury travel, with the region projected to account for nearly half of the world’s new high-net-worth individuals by 2028, according to Visa. As affluent travellers increasingly seek personalised services, authentic cultural connections and meaningful experiences, luxury hospitality brands are adapting to meet changing expectations.
Agoda’s 2026 Travel Outlook Report highlights this transformation in traveller preferences, revealing that 31% of surveyed travellers prioritise culinary experiences, while 25% consider cultural exploration a key reason for travelling. The findings show that modern travellers are moving beyond traditional destination choices and increasingly looking for unique, experience-driven stays.

The partnership will make distinctive hospitality experiences more discoverable for travellers across Asia and international markets while strengthening collaboration between luxury accommodation providers and digital travel platforms.

Andrew Smith, Senior Vice President of Supply at Agoda shared, “Luxury today is personal. Our role at Agoda is to make sure that what a traveler is looking for – from an everyday getaway to a once-in-a-lifetime stay – is easy to discover and book. Partnering with Capella Hotel Group brings some of the world’s most celebrated properties onto our platform, making these extraordinary stays and experiences just as accessible to our customers as any other trip they plan with us.”
The Asia Pacific region remains one of the fastest-growing markets for luxury travel, with demand expected to increase by around 8% annually, according to McKinsey. Destinations such as Bangkok and Bali, which host Capella properties, continue to attract strong interest from luxury travellers and rank among Agoda’s most searched destinations for five-star accommodation, along with Kuala Lumpur.
“As Capella Hotel Group continues on its growth trajectory, partnerships that drive commercial value like this one with Agoda give us the scale and reach to connect with a high-intent traveler base across Asia and beyond. This helps us grow demand for Capella and Patina, while we continue delivering the bespoke service of Capella and the transformative experiences of Patina
in every destination we’re in,” said Varun Whig, Vice President, Revenue, Capella Hotel Group.
