Booking platform HalalBooking welcomes its one millionth member

In celebration of its 10th anniversary in 2024, HalalBooking has marked a significant achievement by welcoming its one millionth member into the HalalBooking Loyalty Club (HBLC), highlighting a remarkable increase in membership from less than 100,000 in 2019. This milestone arrives at an opportune moment for HalalBooking, with the company on a steadfast path toward reaching its unicorn status.

Elnur Seyidli, the CEO of HalalBooking, shared his enthusiasm about reaching this milestone, emphasizing the company’s unique position in the global market. He noted HalalBooking’s expansion from serving travelers in 144 countries to bookings in 91 destination countries around the world.

The brand, which launched in 2014 with a little over 100 hotels in Türkiye, has seen exponential growth, boasting about 500,000 hotels globally. Sales in 2023 underscored the brand’s diversification efforts, with 32% of sales coming from outside Türkiye, highlighting its appeal to halal-conscious travelers worldwide.

The company reported remarkable sales growth in the last quarter of 2023, with significant increases in bookings from Saudi Arabia, the USA, the UAE, and the Maldives. Seyidli also highlighted the introduction of unique new Umrah features, catering to the emerging sector of pilgrimage to Makkah and Madinah. HalalBooking has distinguished itself as the only online platform offering specialized search and filter options for these pilgrimages, including accommodation with direct views of the Kaaba and options based on proximity to the Haram or availability of free shuttle services to it.

This development underscores HalalBooking’s commitment to innovation and serving the diverse needs of Muslim travelers, positioning it as a leading platform for halal-conscious individuals seeking accommodation worldwide.
